    So many of you have asked Esmeralda to comment on the problems facing our World today. Esmeralda must remind you of a crucial Truth – the World has been going to Hell almost since there was a World. But it has never yet arrived there!! And truly, our World is not going to Hell this time either.

    Just keep breathing, Dear Ones, and for heaven’s sake don’t sell your investments!! Numbers on a piece of paper, that’s all they are right now. That’s what the national debt is, that’s what the Dow-Jones average is – numbers on a piece of paper.

  • The Love You Seek

    Esmeralda is saddened by the numbers of you who are still seeking Love and finding it difficult…
    Let Esmeralda share a Love Spell with you now. She can attest to its powers from her own experience…. But that is another story….

    First of all you must pick a Venus Hour....
    And Esmeralda is convinced this is part of the problem, people today have no feel for these sorts of things!

  • Valentine’s Day

    Esmeralda is bemused by this culture’s ability to seize upon a thing and cause it to become so overburdened with significance that the ‘thing’ itself can never again be experienced as fresh, new, or alive with possibility.
    So it appears with Valentine’s Day, that Minefield of Expectation that has caused many a relationship to crash on the Rocks of Mediocrity.

    Suddenly that which is less than sublime is found to be wanting. Ideals are compared to mere mortals, and – well – mortals being what they are….

  • Reflections

    Esmeralda is very aware she speaks to you here as Mercury shakes off his Retrograde Phase and the Moon parts from the Sun following their Lunar Eclipse.
    Cycles within cycles – they are ever-present. What sets this time apart from the recent past is the backdrop of much larger planetary cycles, where cultures are defined and re-defined in new patterns of growth and evolution.

  • The Gathering

    Esmeralda returns to you, Dear Seekers, fresh from a Journey to the Gathering of the Sisters. At the Solstice we gathered, under the dwindling Moon, to take counsel from each other and seek Foreknowledge of the coming year.
    The Sisters from the North have seen Signs and Visions of turbulent weather which tames from the Lion to the Lamb. The Sisters to the East tell Esmeralda that even as a strong leader has emerged in the West – so does their Vision foretell strong leaders rising also in the East, the first a male, and the second, indeed, a female.

  • Hope – What Else?

    As usual the media is bombarding us with tales of fear and tragedy. Esmeralda is certain you’ve heard this about the media – “If it bleeds, it leads”. And right now what’s bleeding is the economy, in all its phases of job loss, falling commodity prices, foreclosure levels, etc.
    For so many this is a time of pain and loss, and Esmeralda is truly saddened for anyone in such a position. For none of this is the fault of its worst victims.

    But rather than laying blame and pointing fingers – for there are many better versed in that than Esmeralda – Esmeralda wants to talk about the hope and vision of a positive future.

  • How does the Oracle work?

    Well now – that’s a very good question. Esmeralda has not the slightest idea how it works. She only knows that it does, and she asks you to entertain that idea also.
    But to consider some possibilities…..

    It seems as if the resonance of the one who is questioning sets up a frequency of vibration, and that vibration syncs up with the answer most truly attracted to the Seeker. It’s true that not in every case will an answer satisfy our deep need to make sense of Life – but when it does, it is truly magical, as you must know if you have found Esmeralda.
